ISM RACEWAY AND NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION UNVEIL SPONSOR A VETERAN PROGRAM PROVIDING RACE TICKETS TO VETERANS

9/5/19

ISM Raceway has partnered with Navy Federal Credit Union to create a new donation program that provides local veterans with tickets to races at ISM Raceway. The all-new Sponsor-A-Veteran program is an exciting opportunity to show appreciation for those who have served bravely in the United States Armed Forces by providing tickets for a thrilling and exciting day of NASCAR racing.

“We’re proud to develop this program with Navy Federal Credit Union and continue to give back to our veterans here in the Valley,” said ISM Raceway President Julie Giese. “It’s an honor to host the Bluegreen Vacations 500 NASCAR Weekend over Veterans Day Weekend and an even greater honor to celebrate the thousands of veterans and active duty military that will be in attendance.”

Fans interested in participating in the Sponsor-A-Veteran program can make their donations at http://www.ismraceway.com/sponsoraveteran or by calling the ISM Raceway ticket office at (866) 408-RACE (7223). Donations begin at just $5 and will be accepted from today through the FanShield 500 NASCAR Weekend, March 6-8, 2020.

"Navy Federal is excited to partner with ISM Raceway for the Sponsor-A-Veteran program," said Dietrich Kuhlmann, Senior Vice President, Branch Operations. Kuhlmann, who served for over 35 years in the United States Navy, added, "It's an honor to serve those who have served and we're proud to team up with another organization that shares that passion. Programs like this are just another way we deliver on our mission."
