Expect to have a great time while taking part in the autograph sessions at the INDYCAR Fan Village or experiencing great live entertainment on the DC Solar Power Pavilion.

A full list of fan guidelines, including when to arrive, what to expect, recommended attire, what you can or cannot bring and a full list of activities scheduled throughout race weekend is available by visiting www.PhoenixRaceway.com and selecting the “Visiting PIR” tab at the top of the homepage and browsing to the “PIR 101: Raceday FAQ’s” page.

Phoenix Raceway, in collaboration with the Department of Public Safety, Arizona Department of Transportation, Maricopa County’s Department of Transportation and Sheriff’s Office, and the cities of Avondale and Goodyear, recommend the following guidelines when traveling to and from the raceway:

  • When exiting I-10, westbound or eastbound onto Avondale Blvd., be sure to follow the signage to guide you to the track for the quickest and safest route.
  • Race fans can call 511 and press *7 when prompted for traffic updates. Additionally, fans can check for traffic updates on Twitter at @PhoenixRaceway.
  • On Saturday, the Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix will conclude at approximately 8:30 p.m. with the heaviest outbound flow of traffic expected to take place from 8 to 10 p.m.
During this period, motorists traveling on I-10 will experience intermittent closing of Exit 131 (Avondale Boulevard) to allow for the successful egress of race traffic.

All race traffic should exit onto Avondale Blvd. and head south to the Free Parking Lots located at the track or follow the directions on the back of your parking pass to the appropriate track entrance.  Phoenix International Raceway is proud to offer nearly 900 accessible parking spaces on our property, and all fans who purchase a wheelchair-accessible seat to the race will receive a parking pass for a reserved ADA lot. All general accessible parking spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis.
