Phoenix International Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that Kristie Maggs has been promoted to Senior Director of Consumer Marketing and Partnership Activation. Since joining PIR in July 2007, Maggs has played an integral role in the marketing efforts of two annual NASCAR Sprint Cup weekends and the upcoming Verizon Indy Car Series – growing the track’s fan base through promotional opportunities with track partners and elevating the PIR brand.

“Kristie has been an innovator in consumer marketing bringing new concepts and leading edge approaches to our business,” said Sperber. “Kristie has added tremendous value to the Phoenix International Raceway brand and our company.”

Maggs began with PIR as the Consumer Marketing Manager where she has focused her creative efforts on helping the track’s advertising and promotional campaigns. A year later, she was promoted to Senior Consumer Marketing Manager and was integral in the development and launch of a new Fan Experience Department – the heart of PIR’s fan interaction, outbound consumer communications and consumer special events and prospecting efforts. Most recently, Maggs has served as the Director of Consumer Marketing and Partnership Activation since 2012.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful team here at Phoenix International Raceway and am excited to continue to create new fan experiences, elevating the PIR brand within the community and heightening the awareness of racing throughout the region,” Maggs said.

A 1997 graduate of Washington State University, Maggs resides in Goodyear with her daughter, Katie.

Tickets for the Good Sam 500 start at just $25, and 2016 season tickets are available beginning at $99. Individual tickets and season tickets are available online at PhoenixRaceway.com, by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or in person at the PIR ticket office.
