Big Machine Records recording artists Kate and Kacey Coppola will sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” prior to the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday, April 18. Now residents of Nashville after a shared childhood in Denver, the identical twins first charmed country music listeners with their fresh harmonies and engaging spirit by reaching the semi-final round on CMT’s reality contest, “Can You Duet?” Named as artists “to watch in 2009” by Country Weekly and featured in People Magazine’s Country Special, Kate and Kacey will tour with country superstar Kenny Chesney for 11 shows this summer. Also gifted songwriters, Kate and Kacey - with Jamey Johnson - wrote the single “House with No Doors” for George Strait’s latest album, Troubadour. The duo is set to release their own debut single, “Dreaming Love,” on April 27. Tickets to all events throughout the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ weekend at Phoenix International Raceway are available at the newly-designed www.phoenixraceway.com or by calling 1-866-408-RACE (7223).
